BURNET, TX — The San Angelo Lake View football team was unable to keep pace with Burnet on Friday in a 57-14 loss.
It was the Chiefs' lowest offensive output of the season and the most points they've allowed.
It was the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
Burnet is now 4-2 and will begin District 4-4A Division I play next week at Marble Falls.
Lake View fell to 1-5 and will host Brownfield next week at San Angelo Stadium in its final nondistrict game.
This story will be updated when stats become available.

Why don’t we just build another Highschool in town and drop everyone to 3A or 4A because the kids as hard they try yr after yr will never win a state championship or have a chance to because they can not compete against the metroplex powerhouses. They are being set up for disappointment.
