AUSTIN, TX - Austin’s Cuantos Tacos has been named the best taco spot in Texas for 2024 by Yelp, according to the platform’s nationwide ranking.

The food truck is known for its Mexico City-style street tacos, using traditional nixtamal tortillas and fillings like suadero (brisket), buche (pork stomach), and al pastor.

Luis “Beto” Robledo, owner of Cuantos Tacos, sources tortillas from the Colonial Tortilla Factory in San Antonio. Yelp reviews highlight the “juicy, wonderfully seasoned” suadero and the “tender and flavorful” beef cheek, with Wednesday specials featuring lengua (tongue). The small 3-inch tacos are popular with customers, who often debate them as the best in the city.

Cuantos Tacos first appeared on Yelp’s Top 100 US Taco Spots in 2023, solidifying its reputation as one of the top destinations for taco enthusiasts in the state.
