SAN ANGELO, TX — A registered sex offender was arrested in San Angelo on Wednesday for online solicitation of a minor under 14, according to a release from the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office.
Joshua Fulton, 32, was taken into custody about 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2024, after the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office received a request for assistance regarding a child exploitation investigation from the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office in Louisiana.
Fulton had been identified as a suspect and was believed to be living in San Angelo, according to the release.
The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office was able to quickly obtain a search-and-arrest warrant, and the warrant was executed in the unit block of East 33rd Street.
The Sheriff's Office acted expeditiously with this investigation due to the possibility of a contact victim, according to the release.
Fulton has prior arrests for sexual assault of a child and sex offender - duty to register. The investigation remains open, and further charges may be forthcoming.
The Sheriff's Office reported it has reason to believe Fulton may have other child victims of sexual exploitation. If you believe you or your child may be a victim of Fulton, the Sheriff's Office asks that you contact the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office or your local law enforcement agency and reference this investigation.
