SAN ANGELO, Texas—Corrections Officers at the Tom Green County Jail report 24 individuals were booked since the last daily update on charges ranging from Assault to Robbery to Public Intoxication and Driving While Intoxicated.
"Dipsomaniacal" is a term used to describe someone who has an abnormal craving for alcohol.
There are 473 inmates housed in the Tom Green County Jail presently.

San Angelo Police arrested Joseph Anthony Robles, 38, for Injury to a Child/Elderly/Disabled Reckless Serious Bodily Injury Mental. He was booked into the TGCJ at 3:08 a.m. Saturday. He is being held without bond.
Irion County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Whitney Peiser, 20, for Interference with Public Duties. She was booked into the TGCJ at 11:14 p.m. Friday. Her bond is listed at $500.00.
Tom Green County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Nicholas Carthorne, 18, for GOB Burglary of a Habitation (F2). He was booked into jail at 9:26 p.m. Friday. He is being held without bond pending a magistrate hearing before a Justice of the Peace.
Nine individuals were arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and another three were arrested for Public Intoxication.

PermalinkFigured I'd give everyone a break on Mother's Day before giving a response to the subject of alcoholic moms.
You yourself might remember a few years ago that I addressed the subject of a breakdown of the family in United States and throughout the Western world. I also attempted to share a bit about my religion. Around this time, slabs in a Brownwood TX monument for WWII veterans were apparently toppled by the wind. Why did I stop? I had an epiphany.
And by "epiphany," I mean that I was drugged in an El Paso bus station and experienced a series of odd, unfortunate, and purely coincidental events that included harassment online and in person for roughly six months, interspersed with some sus happenings for the next year and a half.
These unfortunate successive and sustained coincidences were like an act of God — when he targeted dissidents during COINTELPRO because his agents upon the Earth were shidding themselves and losing control of their power within the States and had to pound figurative flies with sledgehammers to keep their pensions funded.
(Remember kids, always aim for the pension.)
However, part of this awakening was also the realization that the hivemind of the culture we live in has bent the minds of its individual member hosts in such a way that it is committed to its own dissolution. The powerful are committed to their comforts, the people are committed to their vices, and those who are otherwise conscious of the incremental breakdown of our society are committed to the idea of arcane prophecy promising a final, apocalyptic end to all humanity.
The torch of human progress is moving to the East.
While it might suck having an irresponsible mom and having everyone enable that behavior, take heart. In the future, while it's unlikely that those flaws will actually be corrected by society, it's a certainty that the inherent danger and instability of society will reign in such behavior to a degree for the sake of personal survival.
Right now, across the country, militias, gangs, private armies and various associations are connecting, preparing, and working to catch what power they can when the sky finally falls. The progression of events follows the outline of the book, "Civil War II" pretty closely. We won't live to see anything like "Star Trek" happen within our lifetimes, but at least we'll get to experience most of the backstory, not at all excluding the eugenics or the nuclear exchanges.
I have no words of comfort to offer, but if you or anyone else are really feeling bad about your background, just know that this theory by Dr. Eugene McCarthy exists claiming that human ancestors were hybrids between a male African pig and a female ape.
If true, great progress is possible from even the most humble and ridiculous of origins. Eventually. If the spawn of such origins doesn't nuke itself completely into oblivion...
