BRENHAM, TX — An unidentified man angry over not passing a CDL driving test intentionally drove a stolen 18-wheeler into a Texas Department of Public Safety office in Brenham this Friday morning.
It resulted in at least 10 injuries, with three being transported by helicopter.
Texas DPS first posted about the incident on X at 11:17 a.m.
Washington County Emergency Crews responded to the scene after the truck crashed into the building located along Highway 290 Feeder Road.
The impact left several people trapped inside, necessitating a response from EMS helicopters.
The suspect, who has not been named, reportedly stole the truck in the Chappell Hill area earlier in the day.
According to reports, his actions were in retaliation for the DPS office denying him a Commercial Driver’s License the previous day.
The driver was apprehended as he attempted to back out of the facility, pulling him from the vehicle through the vent window.
The Texas Rangers are now investigating.

Well, at least now he won't have to worry about CDL test anymore. Idiot, I hope they throw away the key.

PermalinkIt may not be possible for him to intimidate DPS staff anymore than it's possible to intimidate the police or force the military to withdraw from a place, but for his heroism Mercury will grant him 42 semis in paradise.
PS: Off topic, but Rest In Peace O.J. Simpson!
