SAN ANGELO, TX - San Angelo is vying for the title of "Best Destination for Arts & Culture" in the 2024 Texas Travel Awards' People's Choice category.
The accolade, organized by the publishers of Austin Monthly and Texas Music, recognizes outstanding travel destinations and attractions throughout the Lone Star State.
Texans are encouraged to cast their votes in various categories, including Arts & Culture, Families, Foodies, and Outdoor Adventures.
San Angelo's arts scene has earned it a spot as a nominee, competing with other notable destinations. The public can contribute by voting once daily until February 11.

PermalinkNot true. People travel to San Angelo from miles around and use our public bathrooms, and many of those bathrooms are time capsules of artwork representing years of work by countless anonymous artists. Some of the artwork isn't even intentional.
