Grand Jury Indicts Local Woman for Blacked Out Drunk Assault of Minor

SAN ANGELO— A San Angelo woman has been indicted after sexually assaulting a child in February 2023.

Sokha Loth, 44, has been indicted by a Tom Green County grand jury on two counts of Sexual Assault of a Child.

According to court documents, on February 21, 2023, the child victim was interviewed. The victim said on October 17, 2021, Loth picked the victim up in her SUV across from the child’s residence at around 11:00 p.m.

Then, the victim said that Loth drove to an unknown location several blocks away and parked her vehicle. At that location, Loth sexually assaulted the victim twice before driving the child home.

On February 21, 2023, Snapchat messages were observed that were between the child victim and Loth. On October 17, 2023, at about 10:40 p.m., Loth states in the messages:

  • “I’ll pick u up. Let’s (expletive) (expletive) lmao”
  • “I’ll message u when u need to come out.”

Loth was interviewed on February 22, 2023, and said her relationship with the victim was that of a “son” or “brother” and that all she remembered was getting drunk and “blacking out”. Loth also denied sexually assaulting the child victim.

Loth was arrested on March 6, 2023, and booked into the Tom Green County Jail. She posted a $75,000 bond the same day and was released.

Her photo made me think.... how in the world do chinless people put a pillowcase on a pillow?

You're right, that point is in need of some serious excogitation.

Kudos for a great example of the use of the word "excogitation".  This is the first time I have seen the word used in quite some time.  You used it perfectly.

I like seeing the language exercised.  In answering Cajun's question, perhaps chin-lacking folks simply don't use pillowcases.
