SAN ANGELO, TX — Early Wednesday morning a man appeared at the homeless camp located at N. Bryant Blvd. and W 14th St. with stab wounds. Over the radio, police were told that there was a significant amount blood running out of the man’s wounds.
Police responded to the homeless camp along with an ambulance that quickly whisked the injured man away to Shannon Medical Center. As part of the police investigation, no resident of the camp appeared to be cooperative.
“They aren’t talking,” said a responding officer.
Soon some police took off to visit a location at 21st St. at N. Chadbourne. Other police units surrounded the homeless camp. There was a rumor being passed around that the man with a stab wound may have been attacked on Chadbourne at 14th, about seven blocks away. Nothing seemed to have turned up at this second location.
Police did have a subject they wanted to detain for questioning but the subject ran off. A K9 unit was called to the scene to aid in conducting the search for the fleeing subject.
The incident happened at around 1:45 a.m. Wednesday morning, April 26, 2023.

The liberal experiment of closing government funded asylums and turning the patients out on our streets has clearly failed. For the good of the general population and the good of the patients we must demand a return to government funded lockdown facilities for the mentally disabled.
