Video: Officers Locate Drugs After Traffic Stop Downtown

A male and a female in their 20s may be looking at jail time after San Angelo police officers located methamphetamine and marijuana in their personal effects after initiating a traffic stop.

Sgt. Cimino said one of the two occupants will definitely be heading to jail this afternoon, but the investigation continues to determine if both will in fact be jailed.

The male and female, whose identity has not yet been released, were driving a grey Honda sedan when the driver committed a traffic violation. The specifics on the violation have not been released, however three police units were on scene, scouring the car and searching the vehicle occupants and their effects.

The car was parked in the unit block of Chadbourne street downtown, just across from Meyer's Drug.

Well, according to the article, "The male and female, whose identity has not yet been released, were driving a grey Honda sedan when the driver committed a traffic violation." I see the red Kia driving away in the video but I'm gonna go on a limb and guess it wasn't the bad guy... But if it's a KIA, then I retract my statement.

Drug use is rampant across this country because there is no need for these vermin to get out and find a job, it's way easier for them to latch on to the government teat and take the free ride. Not only does the working person have to donate from their paycheck for them to have what they get, if they come up a little short or need extra cash fast, all the free time they have allows them to come to your home and just take what they feel you don't need anymore...... We absolutely have become the dumbest country in the world !!!

Unless the LIVE! reporter specifies that the car is Japanese, all comments are to be considered speculative in nature, and not an official San Angelo LIVE! confirmation of a Japanese car incident.

I know this has little to do with local news but the Japanese car comments catch my attention which is why I read an article on Yahoo. It seems some poor demented guy in the Bronx tied a chain(hard to do, I think) around his neck and floored it. It took his head clean off(not clean I guess), and the car company said it was not the fault of the Honda CRV. I think that's a Japanese car & we should be especially careful when we see one.
