$12 Million Hotel Could be Coming to the Northside of San Angelo

SAN ANGELO – A new multi-million dollar hotel could be coming to the northside of San Angelo soon.

According to the City of San Angelo Building and Inspections Report, as of Sep. 7, a permit is pending for the construction of a Holiday Inn at 619 W. 29th Street.

The building permit states that this will be $12.2 million project. As of now the permit is only pending.

Currently San Angelo only has one Holiday Inn and that is the Holiday Inn Express on the Houston Heart Expressway.

On the northside there is only one large, the Best Western North Bryant Inn. Adding another hotel would help tourists who visit Lake View especially around Rodeo season.

Were twelve megabucks to be in one of my accounts it would be a big deal.  I could donate more money to get people like Abbott, Paxton, Patrick, and Cruz out of office.  Cornyn is relatively harmless.  He's a weak suck.

When it comes to building a hotel, that's not that much money.  I don't see this as being a big deal.  I visit San Angelo frequently, and I have a place where I stay that takes of my needs quite nicely and at a decent price.  This new joint is unlikely to move me elsewhere.

Do we seriously need another hotel? What San angelo needs is ENTERTAINMENT. We have enough Hotels, Shannon's, furniture stores or stinking Car washes. We need things to do.
