WARNING GRAPHIC: Taco Bell Manager Throws Boiling Water on Two Victims

DALLAS- Taco Bell is facing a lawsuit from a mother after a store manager threw boiling water on her and her daughter.

The event occurred on July 17 when Brittany Davis and her minor daughter went to a Taco Bell, located at 11829 Abrams Road in the Dallas-area. They had ordered $31 in food and the meal had been incorrect twice at the drive-thru.

Davis entered the fast-food restaurant with their receipt and food. The woman had a discussion with the employees for about 10 minutes and the employees reportedly refused to correct the order and had allegedly become “combative”.

In the video, the customers walked behind the counter when the Taco Bell’s manager, who was not involved in the conversation, walked out of the kitchen with boiling water and threw it on the two patrons.

The victims then claimed they tried to run out of the Taco Bell, but the door had been locked. The manager approached with a second bucket of water, but the woman and child were able to get out of the building.

As the victims were leaving the parking lot, an employee exited the Taco Bell and taunted them. The child was hit in the chest and face with the boiling water and Davis was in the chest. The child ran into the emergency room to get help for Davis who allegedly had seizures due to the trauma.

Also, according to the lawsuit, this Taco Bell and the surrounding area have been involving in criminal activity in the past.

Damning piece of video. They may have been deserving of being kicked out, but boiling water assault on video means they're probably gonna own a whole lot of what Taco Bell owns now. The manager should be arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.

My stepson works in a place that is forced on occasion to deal with"troublesome" customers since his place of employment is close to encampments of the homeless.  A boiling hot water approach to issues such as these is moronic.  The employees involved should be fired immediately and possibly held for criminal charges.  Further, the franchise owner warrants deep scrutiny

I am not saying the complaining customers were blameless.  I am saying the manner in which they were handled was beyond stupid.
