WATCH: Video of San Angelo Strip Club Arrest Goes Viral
SAN ANGELO, TX – Warning: the video above may not be suitable for viewers. It contains extreme language and conduct.
The video, exclusively obtained for San Angelo LIVE!, depicts an arrest that occurred on Jun. 15, 2022.
As previously reported, officers with the San Angelo Police Department were called to Desiree's Gentleman's Club on Washington and Koenigheim Blvd. that night for the report of a fight. At the time of the original article, little was known about the incident but police did confirm a fight did occur.
The new video depicts the arrest of an individual outside the bar. The video appears to show SAPD officers wrestle a man to the ground, tase, and punch the man.
San Angelo LIVE! has reached out the SAPD for an official statement on the arrest. As of now no response has been given.

Obviously drunk as a skunk, this dude deserved everything he got from SAPD. On the other hand, I would have loved to see the screaming, crying little twit get arrested, even if it was for being too stupid to pour piss out of a boot when the directions are written on the heel.

PermalinkWith as much respect as I can possibly muster after watching this video....To the female who was filming the incident.....You need to either quit drinking or get on an appropriate medication. You standing there crying, sobbing, yelling and saying the "F" word every time you opened your mouth just makes you look like what you apparently were. You were obviously somehow involved with or related to the person being arrested. I'm surprised the Police didn't arrest you while you were trying to "educate" them on how wrongly they did their job. For Pete's Sake! Asking why they "had to punch him" was funny to me. If he would have COOPERATED with the Police, they wouldn't have had to punch him and/or use the taser. I swear, people nowadays think that they can say or do whatever they want and that they can flat refuse to cooperate with commands given by Law Enforcement Officers and that it's ok. Sorry, some people just have to learn the hard way I guess. I'd be willing to bet that this person who was arrested has a rap sheet and isn't some innocent and productive member of society who was at the strip club trying to raise money to donate to the victims of the latest catastrophe somewhere in the World. Nope. Pretty sure he's had a few run ins with law in the past and I'm just as sure he'll have more in his future. Show no respect for the law, get no respect from the law. Obviously, there are plenty of situations that we've all seen where the actions taken by Police were not acceptable and those Officers should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. But, this is NOT one of those incidents. And, anyone who knows me will tell you that I'm NOT a supporter of the SAPD in general. But, the video shows the facts. Hope the guy enjoyed his time in the drunk tank. Really wish the person filming would have been put into one.

PermalinkMaybe they'll save room for you in there with them so you can teach people how you'd like them to live THEIR life.

PermalinkYour perception of the creatures focused in this incident is correct. Chemical issues.. perhaps alcohol, perhaps worse, appear to be drivers of behavior here. One must also consider IQs well below the 100 mark. I saw little intelligence exhibited by the moron being "handled" by the cops and heard little from the female screeching in the background. I decided quite some time ago I simply don't care to expose myself to such people.
In short, while some might think the cops here were overreactive, I support them fully. Bless them, for they are called upon to deal with human trash like this all too frequently.

PermalinkWow. It took all those donut eaters just to hold down & cuff one drunk dude? And why Taze him? Was he causing harm to anyone other than himself? Was he getting away? And then punch him repeatedly. Typical excessive force of law enforcement.

PermalinkI am all about law enforcement I believe they're an instrument in a system that is of the utmost importance. Therefore, those who supervise a police force will have to answer for much. Desiree's strip club at night time on Washington Street.... You have first arrivers looks as if one is 55 years old female, and a 100 lb female, I would say it's pretty likely that a situation will escalate. My opinion supervisor put everyone involved at risk, the perpetrator whom I believe they should never punch, and the officers who arrived first we're also in danger. And how do you afford 15 officers and five cars in response to a drunk. Where are the leaders, where are the real cops now. Evaluate it grow from it make it right. Stay safe times are evil.

PermalinkJodi, you are absolutely correct. I, however, can't show the same respect as you. Anyone that visits that place is NOT a gentleman, as evidenced by the female taking the video. She is definitely not a lady or woman, or even educated. LetsgoBrandon, shut up! You, and people like you, are what's wrong with the world today. Your self righteous attitude is unacceptable. I personally think the police were too easy on him, and definitely her! She should have been arrested for interfering with police. He obviously has no respect for himself much less law enforcement, and this is unfortunately true for society today.
