EDINBURG – In recent days, Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol agents encountered 414 illegal aliens in three large groups.
Rio Grande City Border Patrol Station agents encountered two separate large groups near Roma and Rio Grande City. On June 1, agents, with the assistance of the Texas Military Department, apprehended 176 migrants illegally present in the U.S. The next day, agents apprehended another 136 illegals. The groups were comprised of 78 unaccompanied children, 153 family members and 81 single adults. The aliens were from Cuba and various Central and South American countries.
Also on June 1, McAllen Border Patrol Station agents apprehended 102 illegal aliens near Mission. The groups were comprised of 26 unaccompanied children, 35 family members and 41 single adults. The migrants were from Central and South American countries.
Border Patrol processed all subjects accordingly.

PermalinkTrump's legacy, in addition to buffoonery coupled with pure self-servedness, will be a naked attempt to wholly subvert the Constitution and the will of the people in a desperate, criminal bid to retain power he did not earn or deserve. In so doing he poisoned the minds of many people and severely damaged the very core of what has thus far made this country work. He is evil incarnate and his followers dangerously deluded. PermalinkSir, you need to take a break from the saturation of the liberal websites. I would like to challenge you to something. The rules: No emotions, no hearsay, no conspiracies, and no what ifs. You name the bad things Trump has done. I'll name the bad things biden has done after only 18 months. You name the good things biden has done (again, only facts and not promises of what's to come, also some article from a liberal website is not considered proof of anything). I'll name the good things Trump has done. Please don't start out with the democrat's favorite go to - Jan. 6th, Jan. 6th, Jan 6th. That's a ridiculous claim that we could debate separately and I believe I would win hands down.
All I ever hear from the dems about Trump is emotional name calling. Why is it I don't ever hear any actual facts?

PermalinkAmigo (I do not consider you to be a bad guy), of the fifty-five misdeeds I saw listed on one site, one stands out as being fully documentable and downright seditious... the call from Trump to Brad Raffensperger in Georgia asking him to find 11,780 votes in a clear attempt to overturn a valid election. This act is criminal and warrants full examination on that basis.
I await the public hearings regarding the January 6 attempted insurrection. Plenty of venom has already been brought to light, and I expect more. Trump and his toadies make Nixon and his klatch of clowns look like amateurs, with the burglary being downright idiotic.
A comment: You mention the "name calling" boiling up from us left-leaners. Terms like "snowflake", "Marxist (when I doubt those who use the term understand Marx)", "communist (same comment as regarding Marxist", "socialist(same comment)", and other such terms bring to mind pot-kettle exchanges. None of it helps.
As I have stated before, I once leaned Right... maybe not far Right, but Right nonetheless. Over the last couple of decades I have witnessed what I perceive as being erosion of those good things the Right brought to the fray. This was back in the day when the Republicans and the Dems worked together for the betterment of the country. Those days are clearly gone.
I do not consider Trump to be a worthy representative of Conservatism. He is a nasty creature. Had someone like Kasich been the candidate against Hillary I would have voted for him in a heartbeat. I, while holding my nose, voted for Hillary because of my utter lack of regard for Trump. I had read about him for quite some time and saw, and continue to see, nothing of value in him. His term as president did nothing to tell me I was wrong about him.
You and I may likely never agree on this stuff. I will close by saying I loathe Trump and will never vote for or financially support any vote-seeker who seeks to cling to Trump's coattails. I anxiously await a valid vote-seeker arising from the world of thinking Conservatives who will totally put Trumpism aside and seek real solutions to our problems.
Have you ever played Spades? If so, have you ever bid Nello where you plan to not catch a trick during the hand because you have been dealt crappy cards? I think of Biden. With the hand he has been dealt, there is no way in hell he is going to catch a trick.
