The Hard Truth About the Gut Wrenching Mass Murder of School Children in Uvalde

UVALDE – A disturbed 18-year-old high school student in Uvalde shot his grandmother in the face Tuesday then broke into Robb Elementary School and murdered 19 young students and two teachers in one classroom.  There is no excuse for the behavior of that deranged individual and 21 families are devastated beyond words Wednesday as the community of Uvalde goes about the process of healing.

National liberal leaders were quick to label the mass murder as 'gun violence' and calls for more restrictive and unconstitutional gun control rang out immediately from the White House to New York and California.

In Texas, Governor Greg Abbott issued a statement following the shooting Tuesday at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde:

“Texans across the state are grieving for the victims of this senseless crime and for the community of Uvalde. Cecilia and I mourn this horrific loss and we urge all Texans to come together to show our unwavering support to all who are suffering. We thank the courageous first responders who worked to finally secure Robb Elementary School. I have instructed the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Texas Rangers to work with local law enforcement to fully investigate this crime. The Texas Division of Emergency Management is charged with providing local officials all resources necessary to respond to this tragedy as the State of Texas works to ensure the community has what it needs to heal.”

Liberal pundits were quick to blame the gun, the gun lobby and conservatives for the deadly mass murder.  President Biden said, "When in God's name are we going to stand up to the gun lobby?"

Vice President Kamala Harris said, ""Enough is enough.  As a nation, we have to have the courage to take action and understand the nexus between what makes for reasonable and sensible public policy to ensure something like this never happens again."

Like it or not, the second amendment to the U.S. Constitution reads, "...the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

The disturbed teenager in Uvalde committed the 21 acts of murder.  That community, all the people of Texas and the United States are diminished by this senseless act of evil and violence.

Jails and prisons across the country, including the Tom Green County Jail in San Angelo, are full of mentally disturbed individuals who are there for a reason; to separate them from society and keep the tools they would turn into weapons out of their hands.

Passing more and more laws restricting the possession and use of constitutional 'arms' from law abiding citizens does absolutely nothing to turn the tide of mass murder.

Only a common sense approach focusing on mental illness treatment and prevention and environment causations will bring an end to the kinds of senseless carnage perpetrated on the innocent children and adults and their families at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde.

Well, I would say. Back in the days when I went to school, we had no Nintendo games or any of the cell phones kids walk around with. We had no billing in school, because if you got in a fight and when you would get home you would get another whipping. Ever since they allowed shooting games and high speed chase games. Kid's try doing the same as they do on the game's. If we would have voted all that not to sale, this world would be different. But kid's see everything in the media now day's and try doing the same. May Almighty God give peace and strength to all the families and relatives of those children. And may God close down the school's for the remainder of this year. Hopefully they could just go back to studying from home. Our children would be safer. But some parents now days rather send them to school so they don't have to put up with them or educate them like they should. Even though sometimes our kids don't listen, but that doesn't give was the right to give up on them. He have to keep talking to them and praying for them to change. All those combat games should be banned.

What are the odds of this being another false flag like Sandy Hook? I mean there sure is a bunch of stuff going on that they would like to distract us from. Stolen election, Sussmann, Clinton, WHO in Davos, WEF, child trafficking, failing economy, record inflation, etc.  What a perfect opportunity for them to try and go after guns again.

I never agree with the opinion section, but I do today. This country needs mental health care facilities that are affordable. Period.

Republicans are the ones who keep cutting funding for mental healthcare, and healthcare in general, so it does matter who you vote for in this situation.
