WATCH: Van Hit After Breaking Down in the Smoldering Heat

 

SAN ANGELO – The driver if a pickup crashed into the back of a stalled van on Arden Rd. Friday afternoon.  

According to Officer Younts with the San Angelo Police Department, on May 6 at around 2:45 p.m., officers with the San Angelo Police Department, along with Fire and EMS, were dispatched to the 4100 block of Arden Rd. for the report of a major crash.

When the crew arrived, they discovered a white GMC van and a white Chevy Silverado that had crashed on the side of the road. Check out a video of the scene:

 

It was determined by the officer that the van was broke down on the side of the road after running out of gas. For an unknown reason the truck clipped the back of the truck. Here are photos from the scene:

No serious injuries were reported. The driver of the truck was cited for failure to control speed.

Why can you NOT hire people who have the ability to write intelligently????

Having been some of a wordsmith in my working days, I would suggest the word, "Sweltering" instead of "Smoldering".  The two words have very different meanings.
