SAN ANGELO – Bowing to mounting pressure from advocacy groups and numerous concerns by avid readers, the editorial staff at San Angelo LIVE! has decided to suspend the coverage of bad news beginning immediately.
Long known for hard hitting coverage of crime, crashes, fires, murder trials, political campaigns and bad news in general, San Angelo LIVE! has constantly been bombarded by kind and gentle readers imploring the news team to cover more pleasant and positive content.
We have heard your call and we agree. It's time for our news department to strike a more positive tone.
Beginning now, our reporters will no longer be rushing to motor vehicle crashes, structure fires and calls of people in distress. Our news will focus on more wholesome activities like Chamber of Commerce weather, cute puppy and kitten photo shoots, bake sales (for wholesome causes only), community participation events where everyone gets a participation ribbon, and team building exercises.
Gone are the clickbait headlines, photos of crashed cars and houses on fire. They will be replaced with tranquil and calming images of wildlife grazing, butterflies fluttering, gardens growing, children smiling, and unicorns.
This new direction will last until the world finds peace and tranquility and finally, we all can just get along.
Happy April 1, 2022.

I’m hoping this is an April Fool’s Day prank. It was only a matter of time for the local media to submit to left wing hug-a-thug WOKE culture standards by sheltering the public from substantial daily local events and substituting it with ridiculous animal photos, rainbows and unicorns, and things which have no effect on the citizenry of San Angelo. What’s next, coverage of a Beto O’Rourke dance recital?

ROFLMAO....... Yeah, maybe in Abilene, Midland, Del Rio, Lubbock.... Yeah, you've got a crack team of fake wanna-be reporters who only know how to copy and paste news from off the internet that happens in those places..... Go out find a story locally ? ? ? Ain't gonna happen.........
