Person Trapped in Rollover at 29th and Chadbourne Streets

In what appears to be a two-car crash at the intersection of Chadbourne Street and 29th Street, the occupant of a Ford F-150 that rolled over is being extracted by the Jaws of Life.

The crash happened at approximately 9:15 p.m. San Angelo Fire Department and San Angelo police are on the scene.

The intersection was closed to traffic as of 9:45 p.m. as rescue crews continued to clear the scene.

The driver of the black Honda car was headed northbound on Chadbourne. The driver of the F-150 was headed southbound and attempting to turn left onto 29th Street. Both drivers said that they had the right-of-way and green light. As the F-150 was turning left, it was hit by the black car, resulting in a rollover. The F-150 driver was extracted with the Jaws of Life and sent to the hospital with minor injuries. San Angelo police officer Burkes said that no one will be given a citation because there were no witnesses and both drivers claim each had the right-of-way.

Murderers get off by claiming insanity... this is just another flaw in our fabulous justice system :) Hope their insurance companies are as forgiving.
