in her SAST interview, Hesse-Smith said the City Council vote on the Tumbleweed's Gymnastics operating out of the Lifepoint Baptist Church gymnasium was illegal. I remember it went to a City Council vote which was unanimous in favor of letting it proceed. Then, it went to trial in front of a judge where it was declared legal. How can she insist it's illegal when it's been through the legal process? Who is she listening to and in whose favor would she vote if it were to come up again? Somehow, I think the interests of Santa Rita will direct her votes and the rest of us in SMD 5 will have no input.
