I believe Lane Carter is the best choice between these four candidates. He doesn't have any past relationships with the rich and powerful in this county that would make him compromised in any way that would influence his decision making. Even though he has two bachelor's degrees and could earn a decent living as a nurse, he chose a different path to work with his hands building and remodeling houses. San Angelo and Tom Green county are predominately blue collar areas, and Lane has more in common with the rest of us than anyone else running for the office. I hope the voters of Tom Green county do some research like I have and discover how two of these candidates are connected with people who will be calling in favors for financially supporting their campaigns. We don't need the few elite in this county running the County Judge's office by proxy while the rest of us don't enjoy the same level of representation. Vote for the common man, vote for Lane Carter.
