West Texas Police Corporal Dies of COVID-19

 

AMARILLO, TX – An Amarillo Police Officer died on Monday morning after a long battle with COVID-19.

"We are heartbroken to announce that our brother, Cpl. Mike Sanchez lost his battle with Covid early this morning," confirmed the Amarillo Police Department on Dec. 17. "Please keep Mike and his family in your prayers during this very difficult time."

Cpl. Sanchez, 45, married to Brandi Sanchez and they have three children together. He also has two older children from a previous relationship.

Since graduating from the 74th Amarillo Police Academy on Dec. 2, 2005, Cpl. Sanchez served in various positions including his latest assignment as an expert Traffic Crash Investigator.

Maybe you remember obummercare, you know insurance for everyone that put most insurance underwriters out of business.
