TxDOT Closed the Bell St. Bridge

SAN ANGELO, TX – The Texas Department of Transportation office in San Angelo is closing the Bell St. bridge over Loop 306 Tuesday morning.  

According to TxDOT, crews will have the Bell St Bridge over US 67 closed off this morning from 8:30am -Noon. The main lanes of US 67 underneath the overpass and the exit ramps will remain open.

The bridge has been damaged twice in recent years after oversized loads struck it from different directions.  

Motorists are instructed to take alternative routes Tuesday morning.
