SAN ANGELO, TX – Ten United States Congressmen will be in San Angelo next week for the 17th annual West Texas Legislative Summit.
San Angelo Congressman August Pfluger is an honorary host for the popular summit which gives West Texas residents an opportunity to visit with local, state and national elected officials about the hot topics of the day.
The summit is entitled 'Beyond Covid-19' and will include discussions on challenges to education, infrastructure issues, border security, agriculture, and the energy industry.
In addition to Pfluger, nationally known Congressman and decorated Navy SEAL Dan Crenshaw of Houston will attend.
Crenshaw and Pfluger appeared in a viral campaign video last year dubbed the 'Greatest joint campaign ad in history.'

In addition to Pfluger and Crenshaw, Congressmen Chip Roy, Brian Babin, Jodey Arrington, Roger Williams, Ronny Jackson, Kevin Brady, Michael Burgess and Randy Weber are confirmed to attend.
The 17th Annual West Texas Legislative Summit will be held on August 3 and 4, 2021 with the overarching theme of “Beyond COVID-19”. Each year the summit rotates from a federally centered theme to a locally centered theme. This allows an opportunity for our Honorary Co-Hosts- Congressman Pfluger, Senator Perry, and State Representative Darby- to address issues from the federal or state level which directly impact our industries. The 2021 Summit will focus on federal issues and will offer insight on various topics.
The 17th annual West Texas Legislative Summit is Aug. 3 – 4. There is a dinner and reception in the Cactus Hotel Aug. 3 and the summit runs from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Aug. 4 in the C.J. Davidson Center at Angelo State University.

Amazing that we pay politicians over 175000$ plus huge expenses and we have to pay to even listen to them! Again the folks with money have access and we get whatever the elite decide on.
