Troopers Discover Yelling Bearded Man's Stash During Crash Investigation

SAN ANGELO, TX — A man was arrested following a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Arden Road and FM 2288 late Saturday morning. Texas DPS made the arrest.

At the scene, the results of the crash were apparent. One vehicle in the two-car crash came to a stop in a nearby barrow ditch. That 2-door sedan collided with a red Dodge minivan driven by a guy with a bushy beard. Representatives from a well-heeled San Angelo car dealership arrived on scene quickly to whisk away the occupant of the disabled 2-door car in the ditch. He left the scene in a brand new Ford Mustang after being released by DPS. Meanwhile, the bearded man driving the red Dodge Minivan made his presence known to DPS troopers.

As the driver of the red Dodge minivan began yelling, troopers did not hesitate to separate the yelling bearded man by sequestering him next to a DPS cruiser. A buddy handed the yelling bearded man a cigarette. The sudden nicotine rush seemed to calm him somewhat. That is when a trooper began interviewing him.

The next thing you know, DPS found a cylindrical object in one of his pockets during a search. That led to a search of the yelling bearded man’s red minivan.

The yelling bearded man lit another cig, but this didn’t have the same calming effect while he presently witnessed DPS troopers searching his minivan. One of the yelling bearded man’s friends walked up to the troopers as they were searching the minivan.

“Stay back,” DPS ordered the friend.

Soon, the yelling bearded man yelled no more. As DPS informed him of his rights, he took one last 20-second drag from his cigarette right before being cuffed and stuffed into the back of a DPS cruiser.

An hour later, a man who resembled the yelling bearded man, 31-year-old Harvey Price, was booked into the Tom Green County Detention Center by Texas DPS with a charge of possession of weed less than 2 ounces. He bailed out at 2:30 p.m. on a $1,000 bond.

Joe, this article is an embarrassment to you and SAL. I assume the tone was intended as tongue in cheek, but the appearance to readers is sophomoric at best. Maybe just report the facts and leave stand-up comedy to the professionals.

Joe thinks you can detect sarcasm and determine humor all from text......... he's not very smart is he
