WATCH: Concho River Downtown Stocked with Catfish!

SAN ANGELO, TX – The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department stocked catfish into the Concho River downtown Friday afternoon.

According to the Inland Fisheries San Angelo District - TPWD, on May 21, crews with the Texas Parks and Wildlife stocked the Concho River in downtown San Angelo with over 600 channel catfish.

The video above shows the crews releasing the fish into the water. 

Texas requires fishing licenses of persons 17 and older fishing in public waters of the state. Those under 17, resident or nonresident, are exempt from fishing-license requirements.
