Illegal Alien Invasion Surges All the Way to Sonora

SONORA, TX – At 9:55 a.m. Thursday a Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper initiated a traffic stop with a group of SUVs on Loop 467 near LOVE’S Truck Stop in Sonora.

He was able to successfully stop two of the vehicles but after initial contact with the driver, multiple illegal aliens began bailing out of the vehicle and the second SUV fled the scene.

At that point, other Troopers, Sutton County Sheriff’s Deputies and Sonora Police Officers began coordinating to stop the other SUVs that fled, or weren’t stopped and to apprehend the ones who fled on foot.

A second traffic stop was initiated on RR 864 and all occupants were apprehended successfully.

After broadcasting a BOLO to surrounding counties, the 3rd SUV was successfully stopped in Menard County and all occupants were successfully apprehended.

Two of the five who fled on foot were apprehended. The number of illegal aliens apprehended from this group of SUVs totaled 18, with 3 still at large.
