SAN ANGELO, TX -- The City of San Angelo announced Monday that after more than two months the northern industrial area of the city will no longer be under a do-not-drink notice.
According to officials, the information provided by the water utility to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has allowed the area to return to normal water usage. The northern industrial area will continue to be valved off from the rest of the water system as a precautionary measure.
The city confirmed it will continue to periodically collect samples from the PaulAnn and northern industrial areas for some time. No further information has been released regarding the source of the contamination.
As a reminder, when restrictions are lifted, it is recommended residents who have home water filtration units and/or filters replace their filters before consuming water through those units.
It is also recommended to contact the filtration provider to consult with them regarding inspections and/or replacement.

I wouldn't drink a drop until SA identifies the culprit. I'd probably sue for my bottled water expense.
