SAN ANGELO, TX – A San Angelo man was arrested Wednesday for sexually assault of a child and possession of marijuana.
According to court documents, on Apr. 26, an officer with the San Angel Police Department received a a report from Child Protective Services that alleged a 15-year-old child was in a relationship with Michale Andros, 20, of San Angelo.
The officer spoke with the child who told the officer that the two had sex on Mar. 15.
Andros was then questioned and he admitting to sexually assaulting the child.
Andros was booked into the Tom Green County Detention Facility and was charged with sexual assault of a child, possession of marijuana, failure to stop and leaving information, no driver's license, running a stop sign, and possession of a tobacco by someone under 21.
He also had ten warrants, two contempt of court warrants, and one failure to appear. His bond is set at $150,000.
If he is released on bond he can have no contact with the victim.
