San Angelo Chamber of Commerce Hosts Mayoral Candidate Forum

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The San Angelo Chamber of Commerce held a Mayoral candidate forum at the Fort Concho Stables Monday night.

The three candidates, incumbent Mayor Brenda Gunter, Silvara Lawson, and Dietrick Tillis, came together at the Fort Concho Stables for the 2021 Mayoral forum presented by the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce.

The forum was mediated by chamber President Walt Koenig. This event was held for the public to get a better idea about what each candidate stands for and to give their opinions on certain issues across the city. 

Issues included roads, water, and many other infrastructure situations occurring in San Angelo. Also during the forum a portion of the night was dedicated to a questions and answers from attendees.

Another forum will be held on Wednesday Apr. 14 at the Fort Concho Stables. This forum will be held for City Council Candidates.

Early voting for the May 1 election begins Apr. 19.

Oh mayor gunter... thanks so much for closing our streets in green acres while the freaking rodeo is in town... It is hard ENOUGH to leave the house as it is!!!!! You'll be losing votes in our neck of the woods. Notice the signs are for the other girl???
