WATCH: Another Crash at a Dangerous Intersection Blocks Traffic

SAN ANGELO, TX – A noon hour crash blocked the intersection of Sherwood Way and Southland Tuesday. 

According to San Angelo Police Department Traffic Division investigating officer Long at the scene, a silver GMC pickup was westbound on Sherwood Way at the intersection and a white Hyundai Sonata was northbound on Southland.  

It is unknown at this time who disregarded the red light.  The vehicles crashed in the intersection knocking the right front tire off the Sonata. 

Officer Long says no citations were issued at the scene and no one was transported to the hospital by ambulance. 

The cause of the crash is still under investigation
