2021 Spring Chicken Affair Canceled

SAN ANGELO, TX – The 2021 Spring Chicken Affair has been canceled.

According to West Texas Rehab Director of Donor Relations San Angelo Berkeley Puckitt the 2021 Spring Chicken Affair that was schedule for Apr. 11 has been canceled. 

"We were going to do it until the city made restrictions due to do COVID-19," said Puckitt. "Then when Gov. Abbott ended restrictions, we just didn't have enough time to get it together."

Puckitt ensured that the event would return next year.

Although the Spring Chicken Affair is canceled this year, West Texas Rehab will be starting a new fundraiser. On Jun. 4 the first ever Spring Swing Golf Classic will be held at Quick Sand Golf Course. 

100 percent of the proceeds raised during West Texas Rehab's fundraisers go towards patient care so that they never turn someone down even if they cannot financially afford services.
