WATCH: A Fiery Pfluger Warns Socialism Now Begins

WASHINGTON, DC — Congressman August Pfluger said with the inauguration of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris on Wednesday, Jan. 20, that, “socialism begins tomorrow.”

Noting that President Biden is expected to overturn with multiple executive orders any of the policies of the previous Trump administration in one day, he added that Democrats leading congress have put into place rules that stifle debate or objections of the minority.

Pfluger was elected as a Republican to represent Congressional District 11 in Texas, one of the most conservative congressional districts in the country in an area that spans from Granbury through San Angelo to the Permian Basin.

Pfluger spoke to us from his office in the U.S. Capitol that was protected at the time with 25,000 National Guard troops following the riot at the Capitol two weeks ago Jan. 6.

Pfluger condemned the statement made by Rep. Steve Cohen (D-Tenn.) where he doubted the loyalty to the Constitution of National Guard troops now guarding the nation’s capitol.

"The [National] Guard is 90 some-odd% male, and only about 20% of White males voted for Biden," Cohen said. "You've got to figure that in the Guard, which is predominantly more conservative … they're probably not more than 25% of the people there protecting us that voted for Biden. The other 75% are in the large class of folks that might want to do something,” Cohen said on CNN.

“This is the absolutely most disrespectful thing I have heard,” Pfluger, a career officer in the U.S. Air Force, said. “That reminds me of the Gestapo-like force that is being instilled [that assumes] if you have a viewpoint, but you’re serving in the US Military, they can deprive you of [dignity] because you have a viewpoint that doesn’t agree with the party in power. It’s just despicable.” Pfluger said.

Pfluger maintained that his objections to the electors from Arizona and Pennsylvania were allowed under the US Constitution. He describes his study of the Constitution and the 12th Amendment before he made his decision to vote to object to the electors. He noted that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi objected to the electors for President George W. Bush.

Pfluger claimed his only objective was to have a transparent discussion about the voting irregularities. He said he had no illusions that his and other conservative lawmakers’ objections would lead to the overturn of the Nov. 3 election.

Inauguration...."It Is What It Is".  Biden is our president.  We need to make the best of it.  Biden keeps mentioning he will lead ALL of us, regardless of political party, race, or beliefs.  You will never hear him talk down on anyone because of party, race, gender, or handicap.  He has respect for ALL. We were headed towards a "dictatorship" country, thus a record amount of people came out and voted for a change.  Some states were flipped because of this outcry for change. 4 years is not long at all, but we shall see what becomes.

The democrats seem to playing by the republican playbook. The republicans need to stop the whining and deal with it like the democrats did.

An amusing headline indeed.  Even were it true, such a scenario would be infinitely preferable to the four years of near limitless foolishness, incompetence, and mean-spirited evil the country has suffered for the last four years.  January 20 opened the door to brighter days, and renewed my faith in a merciful God.

Pfluger is totally irrelevant.  History will not hold him in high regard because of his radical histrionics and conspiracy theory rhetoric.  Trump's sycophants are falling by the wayside.  Pfluger will be one of them.

While I don't question his patriotism and respect his prior service to our country, I have little doubt that he puts politics over country.
