Unknown Problem Causing Major Blackout in Sonora

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- A power outage has caused over 600 people in the Sonora lose power Sunday.

According to the Sutton County Sheriff's Office, on Jan. 17, the Sutton County Sheriff's Office is aware of a wide spread electricity outage affecting over 600 people in the Sonora area.

"We are unaware of the exact cause," stated the Facebook Post. "They are estimating power to be restored by 2PM."

Due to the power outage affecting parts of Sonora, the non-emergency phone lines at the Sheriff's Office are currently down. You can reach out via Facebook Messenger with non-emergency issues or as always, 911 is available for any EMERGENCY issues ONLY.
