Toddler Seriously Injured in Pitbull Attack

SPRING, TX – A three-year-old girl was hospitalized on Saturday after she was mauled by a pitbull inside of a restaurant in Spring, TX.

According to ABC13, on Jan. 12, paramedics were dispatched to the Loose Caboose restaurant for the report of a dog bite victim.

When they arrived they discovered the three-year-old girl was bitten in the face by a pitbull. They immediately rushed the girl to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office says they are investigating the incident.

Family members have told media outlets that the child had entered the restaurant when she was bitten by the dog which was wearing a service vest.

After the dog bit the child the dog owner quickly fled the scene. The Harris County Sheriff's Office said they do know who owns the dog and have a meeting scheduled with her. Information will be passed on to the District Attorney's Office to determine if charges are warranted.

The Waldroup family does want the owner to be held accountable.

"She cares more about this dog," the chid's mother said. "This dog now has to be checked out and everything, because my child runs the chance of getting rabies so that is still on the table until we get confirmation of its medical history."

The family has set up a GoFundMe to cover Ronin's future medical expenses. A dermatologist has reached out to offer treatment for Ronin.

You named a little girl after a masterless samurai? A vagrant? A wanderer? Really?

(Oh, any idiot knows that dog was neither trained nor a service dog.  It's just an outfit accessory for the thoughtless, selfish, and cowardly woman that probably destroyed that little girl's childhood, and ran off to avoid responsibility.  But, naming a little girl Ronin?)
