Knickerbocker Rd. Loses A Chicken Restaurant

SAN ANGELO, TX – Knickerbocker Rd. has lost one of it's chicken restaurants in San Angelo.

According to Bush's Chicken, on Dec. 14, the chicken joint has closed its doors.

"We appreciate you as a loyal Bush's customer," stated Bush's Chicken. "Unfortunately this location is closed permanently."

The restaurant opened in Nov. of 2018 and closed just after two short years. San Angelo LIVE! reported the story first. See: Bush's Chicken Now Open on Chickenbocker!

The pandemic, location, and the amount of chicken restaurants on Knickerbocker could have been contributing factors to the restaurant closing.

"Please continue to visit Bush's Chicken int he surrounding areas," finished the statement from Bush's. "Thank you for your continued patronage."

The building for the former Bush's Chicken, located at 1225 Knickerbocker Rd., is not up for lease.

Well Duh........ Who didn't see that one coming. There's just so many ways you can fry a piece of chicken and there was already about 2 dozen places fixing it that same way before they even broke ground on construction....... So long - bye bye
