Suspect Wearing COVID Mask Robs Abilene Bank

 

ABILENE, TX –  The Abilene Police Department is currently investigating a bank robbery that took place before noon on Tuesday.

According to APD, the First Abilene Federal Credit Union located at 1118 Pine St. was robbed just after 11:30 a.m. by a white male wearing a 'gaiter style' face covering entered the bank, pulled out a gun, and demanded money from a teller.

Investigators say the individual left with an undisclosed amount of cash. 

Anyone with any information regarding the bank robbery is asked to call Abilene Crime Stoppers at 325-676-8477 (TIPS).
