SAN ANGELO, TX – Two separate crashes on Houston Harte Tuesday afternoon slowed traffic near downtown San Angelo.
According to reports, a tan Chevrolet pickup apparently crashed into the back of a small white car on the east bound access road near Magdalen St. around 1:30 p.m.
Both vehicles had to be removed by tow trucks. No information on injuries or citations in that crash.
A short time later, another crash occurred on the Houston Harte Express Way near the Van Buren St. overpass.
Reports indicate a blue Dodge pickup and a small gray passenger car crashed.
Police sent out a Nixle alert warning commuters traffic was down to one lane while San Angelo Police investigated the crash.
No information is available about the cause of that crash or if there were any injuries.

Why, well I guess I know why, but I strongly disagree with cancelling Christmas At Ft Concho...We need to get our town, our economy, our local events moving forward again...Require masks and get on with opening things up...This is one of our towns major annual events...And it's not until early December...I could rant on and on and basically just repeat myself...So, let's get things moving forward again...A Fair Shake

PermalinkOk, so I am confused...yesterday it was posted that there was 1 new death in San Angelo due to the Covid 19...the day before the total count was 70...so would not that make the total 71??? But on the news it was reported that there had been 1 new death making the total 72...Maybe I missed something...A Fair Shake
