Angelo State University Police Investigating Dorm Incident

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A male Angelo State University student was arrested Monday morning after a female student found him in her dorm room living area. 

According to the ASU PD, on September 21, officers with the university police are investigating a criminal trespass of a habitation incident that occurred early Monday morning in Texan Hall. A female student reported seeing a white male subject in her living area. When the subject saw the female, he fled the room. The female student was not harmed.

Officers quickly reviewed the security cameras in Texan Hall and were able to identify the male subject as a student who also lives in Texan Hall. Officers detained the male for questioning. The suspect is currently in custody at the police department while officers obtain an arrest warrant.

Students are reminded to be sure they keep their doors locked and immediately report any suspicious activity to campus police at (325) 942-2071.
