Overnight Shooting Causes Crash at MLK Park

SAN ANGELO, TX – An overnight shooting at MLK park sent at least one person to the hospital Wednesday night.

According to a San Angelo Police officer at the scene, on Sept. 16 at around 10:00 p.m., officers with the San Angelo Police Department were dispatched to MLK Park for the report of a shooting.

As of now the only information released to the public is that the area is safe and that there were no fatalities.

No suspects have been arrested at this time. The names of the victim or victims have not been released.

While police were on scene investigating, a crash occurred in front of the park. Officers on scene say the crash happened because of someone "that is not even paying attention to what they're doing."

Is this ANOTHER shooting at MLK park? Sounds like they need to put a sunset curfew on that park.
