Well this is about right. I clicked on the link to complete the survey "before Sept. 14" and what comes up instead. "OPPS, We can't seem to find the page you were looking for"
I think all this whining about name's of buildings, roads, etc is completely stupid. I would like to know how can a name keep you from doing what you need to do. Sure 100 yrs ago a lot of people did some terrible things, but why is it now just disrupting peoples lives? Most, if any of the people alive today did not own people. Yes, in the past all people were not treated with respect as they should have been, but that was a different time. You can not apply our way of life{thoughts, actions, morals etc} now to what it was yrs ago. we grow and change as the times change. From what I can see, the times now are not anything to brag about. If you don't have the education you want, the home you want, the job you want or the life you want, then it is up to YOU to work for it. This world owes nobody anything. Get off the couch, off the street corners or where ever you are and find away to make your life better. GET OFF THE PITTY POT and man up. All the violence, killing, looting, etc will not change anything but will show others what kind of person you are. I have worked hard everyday since I was 15 yrs old. As a senior in high school I worked 3 jobs, went to school and even had my own little apt. My momma and her family were share croppers. They picked cotton and even followed the crops to California to pick apples, grapes and other produce. Were not rich but proud of who we are. An honest, God fearing, caring, respective family. Get over yourself, pull up your pant and do what is needed to make your life better and quit expecting others to do it for you. Rant over. {If it even matters, we are a white family}

Why is it so important to eliminate history if it hurts your feelings or offends you? If all names of streets, buildings, cities, and statues names are put under the crosshairs, how much money is that going to cost the taxpayers to change the names? Which brings another question. If you are offended by a name, can you sue and show damage? Can a taxpayer sue and show damage when the names are changed? The taxpayers money does not belong to the whims of elected officials but it seems to be perceived that way. I am 26 percent Irish and 1 percent Native American according to my DNA test. If you check the history of the Irish, Native American, Japanese and Chinese in this country, it isn't pretty. Should we all feel butt hurt and demand name changes for everything that offends us? My idea is to just focus on now and our immediate problems and seek cooperation in making things better from this point while preserving the ugly history that reminds us how far we have come. I have a fear that there are those that want Americans divided and when that is accomplished, our future might be much uglier than the past.

All of a sudden fiscal citizens worried about money and taxes. I will start a GoFundMe for a plaque stating his treacherous actions against the United States of America. We can put that up and correct history that was changed when the school was named.

No doubt Lincoln, Washington, and every other symbol that is deemed counter-revolutionary will be defaced and destroyed as well.

like a dog who just won't release that grime and slime splintered bone although a fresh marrow filled femur is laying in front of you. stubborn? stupid? rabid?
