TxDOT Safety Truck Plows Into Guardrail on US 67

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A Texas Department of Transportation work convoy safety truck was damaged on Thursday after it went off the roadway and crashed into a guardrail. 

According to witnesses on scene, on August 20, the truck was heading west on US Highway 67 south and crossed over to the east bound lane of traffic and eventually hit the guardrail. 

It is unknown at this time whether anyone was injured or if citations were issued. 

The convoy truck seen in the image is an attenuator truck or safety truck. They are used for construction mainly for road crews.

Hopefully there were no injuries. It's unfortunate that the driver experienced this crash. He can probably expect a pink slip from the employer. TXDOT is known to be Bat Shit Crazy regarding accidents by employees.
