SAPD: Crash Into Taco Bell Was Intentional

SAN ANGELO, TX – The San Angelo Police Department revealed more information regarding the truck that crashed Saturday into the Taco Bell on Knickerbocker Rd.

As previously reported, on August 15, officers with the SAPD were dispatched to the Taco Bell at 1701 Knickerbocker Rd. for the report of a truck that drove into the building. Here is the original story: Driver Slams Pickup Through the Front Doors of a San Angelo Taco Bell

Now the SAPD reports that the man who crashed into the fast food restaurant did it on purpose.

According to the SAPD's weekend arrest blotter William Dean Lee, 74, was arrested for criminal mischief after police were dispatched to the Taco Bell on Knickerbocker Rd. for the report of a vehicle that crashed into the building.

The investigation revealed Lee was charged with criminal mischief over $2,500 but less than $30,000. He was booked into the Tom Green County Jail but was released after posting a $7,500 Personal Recognizance Bond.

He got home and saw that they did not put his taco sauce in and that made him really mad.

messed up his order, or even worse, gave him only 2 packets of fire sauce for the dozen tacos he bought.

Hopefully now Taco Bell will sue him for his entire 401k, retirement benefits or any other income or assets he may have and leave him bankrupt for the rest of his sorry life..........
