Watch: Motorcycle Accident Shuts Down Part of W Houston Harte

 

SAN ANGELO, TX—Just before 9 p.m. on Sunday, officers with the San Angelo Police Department were dispatched to the area of W Houston Harte Expy. directly above the S. Bryant Blvd. exit up through the N. Chadbourne St exit following the report of a major motor vehicle accident involving a motorcycle on the loop.

According to scanner reports, a 29-year-old male was involved in the crash, although injuries are currently unknown.

Officers at the scene had multiple lanes of traffic shutdown and declined to provide a statement to reporters. San Angelo Fire Department also responded to the crash.

Lanes of traffic headed westbound on Houston Harte were closed off to public access as drivers were directed to exit just after Main St, and re-enter the normal flow of traffic off 7th Street.
