SAN ANGELO, TX -- San Angelo kicked off the weekend with 47 new confirmed cases of COVID-19.
According to city officials, the 47 new cases were confirmed using 27 PCR tests and 20 using antigen testing.
Of the news reported, 29 cases were identified as male, with the majority of them being under the age of 50.
The 47 cases bring the number of active cases to 815 and 1,922 total.
No updated information was provided regarding the number of patients currently hospitalized with COVID-19.

PermalinkRita, since I consider you to have one of the more intelligent voices here, I respectfully disagree. I suggest you discuss the matter with someone who has suffered a loss because of the virus or perhaps with someone who is fighting the battle against it.
