ABILENE, TX — A 34-year-old Abilene man has been arrested as a result of accusations he sexually assaulted a child during a firework show.
According to KTXS, on New Year’s Eve Joseph Timothy Blake allegedly touched a child under the age of 14 during the fireworks show.
The victim told police Blake inappropriately touched her again later that night. She claims she told him “no” and to stop multiple times, be he did not stop.
Blake was charged with indecency with a child and is being held on a $30,000 bond.

No, means no. At younger than 17, even yes, means no here in Texas.

PermalinkWhat solutions does the Bible recommend for incidents like these?
The Hebrew word "naˈarah" means “a marriageable woman”, who was cleared for molestation....I mean "marriage" by age 12, or the onset of puberty.

You guys look like morally bankrupt individuals to everyone else who reads these posts.
I'm with you Nate, in response to this uncaring, unsympathetic, view... whatever.
So sorry to hear about this child's traumatic experience.

PermalinkAll I did was ask for Nate's insight into a subject about which he has demonstrated a great breadth of knowledge and a passionate interest. Your commentary reads like it's written by a 12 year old girl with Stockholm syndrome.
Sheesh.

I apologize, Mrs. Schmidt. Sometimes I forget that the Bible doesn't at all say what it means, rather means whatever the reader says.
Have a blessed evening.
