SAN ANGELO, TX – More details have emerged about the wanted child predator who was on the run from Tom Green County law enforcement.
As previously reported, on July 15, the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office issued a wanted notice for Rodney Rhodes, 43, on charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child. The following day he was captured by TGCSO deputies. here is the story: Deputies Capture Wanted Child Predator
Now more information has emerged about why Rhodes was charged.
According to court documents, on July 13, deputies with the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to an outcry of sexual assault. When they arrived, deputies spoke with the adults who reported the outcry as well as the 3-year-old child who made the outcry.
On July 11 the child went to Rhodes' house. The child went home the next day and told a family member that Rhodes "peed in my mouth." The child went on to say that Rhodes taught her a "game."
During interviews with family members, one stated that on March 9, 2020 the child stated Rhodes "touched my coochie" and that her vaginal area was in pain while asking not to be hurt.
Clothes worn during the July 11 incident were then collected. During further investigation the CSA detective found bodily fluid that could possibly be semen.
A warrant was then issued and the Rhodes was arrested on July 15 at 7:17 p.m.
He was released July 16 at 11:13 p.m. after posting a $100,000 bond.

If this is all factual lock him up and toss the key away. The story sounds too bizarre for a three year old to fabricate. That said it does not that Rhodes is the one that did such a deed. Wait for the DNA evidence.

PermalinkIs this the piece of trash that got 10 years probation for raping a 2 year old baby in front of her 4 year old sister? Great job San Angelo's 'justice' system, let him out on bail to prey on more children! Where are the protesters now?!

PermalinkWhy on earth was a 3 year old girl spending the night with a 43 year old man? Time to get some parents in for questioning.

PermalinkI'm asking, and I don't mean any of this ironically or sarcastically:
Nate, why do you think anyone would leave a child near someone who looks like they shouldn't be allowed within 10 miles of a goat pen; what do you suppose happened here concerning the parent's involvement? What should people who suspect that such actions are taking place do in order to alert authorities?
Thanks
