Fire Department Dispatched to Out-of-Control Pit Fire 

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — What was called a backyard “pit fire” blazed out of control and the those at the party at a residence between Campus and Garfield on Colorado St. called the fire department.

Before the fire department dispatched just about every vehicle at the fire station and arrived, the fire had been extinguished. 

There were no injuries reported.

A shame it was brought under control before it left them with a very valuable lesson about disregarding orders to refrain from having large gatherings of people in places.....

I must have missed something...do not see any reference to a "large gathering"
