SAN ANGELO, TX – The City of San Angelo announced late Friday a new order has been issued by the Local Health Authority.
On the first day of phase one of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott's reopening of Texas, the Local Health Authority declares common areas are off limits.
This order issued late Friday prohibits the congregation of guests within common areas in all hotels, motels, RV and camping facilities and similar establishments providing accommodations, overnight lodging, meals, and other services for guests shall immediately prohibit the congregation of guests within all common areas of those establishments.
Common areas shall include, but not be limited to, lobbies, pool areas, dining areas, conference rooms, walkways, etc.
Social distancing is required. Big Brother is watching.

Sometimes it's okay to walk away. Just go out for a walk, go to the store, go in any direction, and leave the Left and its aborted causes behind. Gone is the "Yellow Dog" Democrat party and its causes. Gone is its support for the working class, to which it is now actively hostile. It is the party of the privileged, of communists, and of divisiveness.
The Left and their Dem representatives have thrown the baby out with the bathwater. Maybe it's time for many, like the President himself did, to leave them for good and find a better place to work with others for a better future.

PermalinkThere are times when government may step in and deprive an individual or a group of some of their personal liberties.
Read the story of Mary Mallon, a.k.a. Typhoid Mary. The government eventually put her in quarantine until she died, because she refused to stop cooking for others, even though she knew it was killing people or making them deathly ill.
Sometimes the health and safety of the masses is prioritized over the individual. I have no problem taking some common sense precautions to insure that I don't get infected or infect others.
Restaurants will be opening, but I won't be dining in until this whole mess is in the rearview mirror.

PermalinkI have no political party affiliation and have both liberal and conservative views on different matters. I also need much more than a post or two, or dozens, to sway me to believing every conspiracy theory. I am a firm believer in good ole common sense, an increasingly dwindling commodity these days.

PermalinkDon't mind me. I just like seeing my own soap-box speeches in print. I wouldn't have known you or anyone else actually read any of what I wrote until you commented. I also understand you may not believe in conspiracy theories, but plenty of people in the media and in the government do. There was even an impeachment because of it.
It could be that so many people seem to lack common sense these days because things are less sensible than in the past. In 1970, if someone thought a device in their house was listening to them and giving them messages, it was a sure bet they were crazy. Today, you can run out of chicken in your smart fridge and see ads on social media for Popeye's when you're browsing your phone.

PermalinkAt the onset, a little late some say, China quarantined 57 million people. Whole cities were placed on lock down. I'm no expert on China, but Chinese democracy has not suffered one bit. This attempt at a power grab had no real effect on the liberties and freedoms the Chinese enjoy(That's how you do sarcasm Herr President). Big brother, that's rich. Might as well temp fate and go around licking door handles around town, Mr. Green. Prove that hoax.
One thing is for sure, they couldn't care less about the Democratic Party's inevitable power grab. Power shifts have been happening for a very long time.
