SAN ANGELO, TX – A 39-Year-Old Carlsbad man was arrested after a child said that he sexually assaulted her for three days straight.
According to the affidavit, on April 15, child protective services received a complaint that Jacob Ferro, 39, had sexually abused a child.
The following day during a forensic interview at the Hope House, the victim stated that she had been sexually abused for multiple straight days beginning at the end of March.
The victim stated that while she was asleep Ferro came into her bedroom touched her breast and female sexual organ on top and under her clothes. She recalled that it happened early in the morning before Ferro went to work at 6 a.m.
The second day Ferro once again snuck into the room and touched the girls sexual organ underneath her clothes. He then allegedly made the child touch his sexual organ that was outside of his pants. The affidavit states she thought it felt gross.
The victim then said that on the third day she was raped by Ferro.
Ferro was arrested for sexual assault of a child.
Ferro was booked into the Tom Green County Jail on April 23 and was released the same day. His bond was set at $50,000 and he cannot make any contact to the victim.

Although this is a despicable crime, the man in considered innocent until proven guilty. It will be interesting to see how this pans out. That said the authorities always take the word of a child as truth, arrest the accused and destroy their reputation. It is not like a child has never lied about things such as this. How did the man get such close access to the child and why did it go on for days and not be exposed. It just don't pass the smell test, but then we only have limited information.
