WATCH: New Asian Restaurant Prepared to Open Despite COVID-19 Lockdown

SAN ANGELO, TX – A new Asian restaurant on Sherwood Way is prepared to open in the near future despite fears of no business during the COVID-19 pandemic.

As first reported on November 8, longtime chicken shack Rooster's chicken n' fixins closed it's doors. This was one of the only drive-thru restaurants in the area.

Pho Saigon is the new restaurant that is trying to fill that hole. Management at Pho Saigon say that the business is hoping to open its doors by June 1. Managers claim that with the coronavirus the business will still be able to open for drive-thru.

The building is currently being renovated but most of the work is already complete. The restaurant has added new tile, paint, fixtures, and other accessories such as four new TVs. The owners also have remodeled the kitchen area.

Pho Saigon will be offering take-out, drive thru, and dine in options. The Asian restaurant will be offering a number of different Asian cuisine favorites as well as fresh boba and green teas.

It's really not going to matter when it opens, it's just going to be another restaurant added to the long list of "Here today, Gone tomorrow" eating joints.......
