WATCH: The Story Behind G-Baby's Takedown

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Jonathan White didn't know who Gabriel "G-Baby" Cuellar was before Saturday afternoon, but he does now.

Saturday afternoon officers with the San Angelo Police Department were dispatched to the 7-Eleven at 2202 N. Chadbourne St. for the report of a stolen vehicle being found.

According to White, after hours of scouring the city with family and friends in search of the vehicle that was stolen from his wife's friend that morning, it was at the 7-Eleven where he spotted the car.

White was driving on Chadbourne and quickly pulled into the convenience store parking to confirm he found his wife's car but found a small little 18-year-old guy inside.

White played it smoothly in his approach with G-Baby complimenting him on his car. White even took it as far as to offer G-Baby $1,000 for the stolen vehicle. Shortly after White's arrival at the 7-Eleven, officers with the San Angelo Police Department showed up and pointed a gun at both of them. After the officer sorted out who was who, he arrested G-Baby for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, two instances of failure to appear in court for previous charges, possession of drug paraphernalia, and having no driver's license.

Watch as Jonathan White chronicles the theft and then recovery of his vehicle from beginning to end.
